A Dream Realized

"GODFELLAS" is finally completed. What a joy working on this project. I, and everyone else believes this is one of, if not the, best movie we've made so far.
I love the moving making process. Godfellas started like this: Since the beginning of this ministry, I've wanted to make a sermon illustration movie in the "Mafia" genre. Last year (2008) while Pastor Timothy and I were traveling together to scout the location for "Two Wolves" Timothy came up with the idea of the "unforgiving servant" in Matthew 18. I agreed with him that it was a perfect parable to do. I then challenged Clarice, my writing partner, to come up with a basic script idea. She did. It was wonderful and only needed a little tweaking by me and the writing team. More creative input was added by the actors at the "table read." Then while out on the shoot, again the actors added little physical newances. Then the challenge of editing, music score and effects was my challenge.
