Experience Great/but will train...

If you are checking out this Blog because you are interested in Christian film making, the following information will be helpful: First we must assume you are a Christian. Then we must assume that you are not only interested in film making but you also want to serve God in ministry. One Way Productions is in business, yes, but we also minister Gods truths in creative audio/visual form. In fact, we were first established to relate the Gospel and give God the glory and He would supply the rest: that is more creative opportunities and enough business to keep us going to supply all the equipment needs, etc.
That said, we need help. Making movies takes team effort. We are looking for talented people who have a passion for film making and want to take part in a grand effort to take Gods truths to the next level. Our goal is to make professionally produced Sermon Illustrations (approximately 5 minutes long) as well as feature films.
If you have ever had the dreams or desires to get involved in making movies — now is your chance! The door is open to anyone. If you have experience, great, if not, thats OK because we have many areas that we will train you. You can pay big bucks going to film school — we offer the same for free. Some of the areas are: director, camera, sound, lighting, writing, producing, script supervisor, slate, continuity, grip, make-up, hair, wardrobe, production assistant.

Although we are building our crew starting within our church, we are, and always will be, looking for talented people to become a part of spreading Gods glory. There is plenty of room. Working on the first "Sermon Illustration" with Radiance

It is exciting working with Pastor Timothy Stewart, the Pastor of Creative Communications at Radiant Life Church. We both are looking forward to experiencing God using this ministry in communicating God's Word to our congregation and other congregations around the world. We are now in the process of assembling a production crew and actors to start our first production, a sermon illustration titled "The Letter".
Although I have personally produced three previous "Sermon Starters" for another church, our goal at Radiance is to create highly professional productions using experienced actors and production techniques that will highly improve the quality and allow us to offer them to other pastors around the globe. The previous three, although effective, were done too rapidly and with un-experienced people. They also were geared toward that church alone. We at Radiance plan to market "our sermon illustrations" to a much bigger and broader audience. Also the first three were comedy's where as "The Letter" is a drama. We believe it can be very effective in showing how we are to show God's (agape) love toward others and not the type of "selfish" love the world professes.
March 28 at 6:00pm at my house is our second production meeting. We're hoping for a much bigger attendance than the first one, since we are advertising it on the Radiance blog and in the church bulletin this Sunday, the 26th.
